Ohio will send a total of 173 delegates to the Republican National Convention in 2008.  Delegates and Alternate Delegates are selected by the presidential campaigns, not by the Ohio Republican Party.  To become a Delegate or Alternate Delegate, contact the Republican presidential campaign of your choice to notify them of your interest.  Be prepared to send a personal profile or resume along with any relevant information highlighting your involvement in the Republican Party.  Delegates selected by a campaign are typically asked to sign a pledge of support to that particular candidate.
