College Republicans

In the 108 years of College Republicans, students on college campuses around the country have worked to elect fellow Republicans to office. College Republicans in Ohio work to mobilize large numbers of college students to volunteer for local, state, and federal candidates. We put in hundreds of hours each year completing literature drops, door-to-door efforts, yard sign distribution, and many other activities for candidates. A massive CR effort can make the difference for a winning campaign and prepares students to take an active and informed role in future political involvement.

College Republicans in Ohio also work to spread the Republican message to their fellow students by inviting speakers to campus, hosting Support America rallies and taking an active role in campus debates. The Ohio College Republican Federation (OCRF) currently includes nearly 40 chartered clubs on Ohio's college campuses. The OCRF serves as a statewide coordinating and communications organization that seeks to strengthen and assist every club in the state. The OCRF was named the "Best State Federation" in the nation by the College Republican National Committee at the 2003 national convention.
