Democrat Lt. Governor's embarrassing video makes national news
(Columbus) - Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher brought Ohio more unwanted attention today as state and national news publications ridiculed his "shirtless and baffling" appearance in a video circulating on YouTube.
The buzz about Fisher's embarrassing video comes on the heels of a string of bad news involving the lieutenant governor, including reports that his hand-picked economic development successor owes nearly $150,000 in back taxes and national news coverage of his failure to retain a major Fortune 500 company that decided to move its headquarters from Ohio to Georgia.
"Every time Lee Fisher makes headlines lately it's humiliating to the state," said Ohio Republican Party Chairman Kevin DeWine. "Ohioans are really starting to question his judgment, and we can't afford more erratic leadership in state government right now, let alone in the United States Senate."
