Columbus, OH-State Senator Jon Husted (R-Kettering) today filed petitions to appear on the ballot in his run for Secretary of State. Husted filed nearly 3,000 signatures from voters in more than 60 counties.
"The support we generated from across the state marks another important step in our campaign's success, Husted said. "The broad-based support shows we are ready to compete throughout the state, and serves as a strong statement of faith from Ohioans that I will serve as a leader who will ensure our elections are conducted with honor and integrity. I look forward to the days ahead and building on our already strong network."
