Will You Help Us Make a Few Phone Calls?

We're less than 100 days away from 11.02.10 - the day we reclaim our state from the costly, job-killing, government-centered policies that are holding back Ohio's economic recovery. What are you doing to help?

One way you can lend a hand is by helping us make phone calls to our fellow Ohio voters.

Why are these calls necessary? Because many voters are "unaffliliated" with a political party, and we're simply calling to ask a few survey questions that will help us determine how they're likely to vote. It's kind of like conducting a quick poll.  This process helps us target our voter persuasion and turnout resources more effectively.  Volunteers help us make these calls in two ways.

1. Going to an area Victory Center. We have dozens of volunteer offices - called Victory Centers - opening across Ohio in our most populous counties. These centers have phone banks specifically set up for our volunteers to make calls to voters. Our helpful staff can walk you through a brief tutorial on how to use the phones, and the rest is easy. We'll give you the questions to ask, show you how to record the responses, and even dial the numbers for you! Victory Centers generally operate between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., and you can come and go whenever is convenient to your schedule. We recommend calling the Victory Center Captain in advance to confirm your volunteer time. 2. Making calls through our Phone-from-Home system. Many volunteers can't get to a Victory Center or just want to make calls on their own time in the comfort of their own home. We've made it easy to help out, if that's your preference. All you need to do is visit our Phone-from-Home sign-up page, fill out your contact information, and wait for us to contact you with instructions on how to access the system. These calls are easy to make, and you can participate anywhere you have a phone line and a computer with internet access. This same system has been used to achieve some big Republican victories in Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachussetts. We hope you'll give it a try!
