Dave Yost was endorsed by the Ohio Black Republicans Association (OBRA), to be the next Ohio Auditor of State.
"Dave Yost places a high value on the involvement of African Americans in all aspects of the Republican Party. Dave shares our belief that we need bold ideas to rein in spending and get government under control. His experience as a county auditor and prosecutor makes him the perfect choice to carry on Mary Taylor's record of excellence in the Auditor's office," said Ohio Black Republicans Association President Stephen D. Cheek.
"I'm proud to have the endorsement from the Ohio Black Republican Association," said Yost, a conservative who has fought to keep government accountable his entire career as an auditor and a prosecutor. "I am pleased that African Americans across the state have put their confidence in me as the best candidate to be the next Auditor of State."
Yost has been endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party to replace Mary Taylor as Auditor of State. He is currently serving his third term as Delaware County Prosecutor, after serving one term as Delaware County Auditor. In both positions, he has aggressively pursued government fraud and waste and prosecuted crime.
In addition, Yost has been endorsed by Ohio Right to Life, the Buckeye Firearms Association, 98% of Ohio's Republican County Auditors, three-fourths of Ohio's Republican Senators, over 70% of Ohio's Republican County Prosecutors, the Belmont, Delaware, Muskingum, Preble and Putnam County Republican Parties, and Ken Blackwell.
