Statement from Chairman DeWine on the Primary Election

(Columbus) - Ohio Republican Party Chairman Kevin DeWine issued the following statement today on the results of the Republican Primary election:

"The results of this primary demonstrate that the Republican Party is alive and well in Ohio.  We've tested the strength of our grassroots organization and found it strong, and we've nominated the most experienced and electable statewide ticket in better than a generation.  This primary gave us an opportunity to challenge our convictions, and our party is better for it.  I'm encouraged by the passionate debate that engaged so many new people in the process, and I hope we can now unite and move forward as one party to victory in November."
