Apparenlty, Gov. Ted Strickland's Turnaround Ohio plan involves a 360 degree turn. From the Associated Press:
The state said today that Ohio's unemployment rate was 5.9 percent in September, up from 5.7 percent in August. ... The September unemployment rate for Ohio was up from 5.5 percent in September 2006. State Job and Family Services Director Helen Jones-Kelley says hiring remained sluggish in September.
So unemployment is nearly a half-point higher today than a year ago when Democrats were feverishly trumpeting Ohio's job losses on the campaign trail. Funny how quiet they are lately.
