Joe Dills Makes False Claims on Political Mail, ORP Issues
Cease and Desist
Inaccurately Claims He Still Holds the Ohio Republican Party’s Endorsement
“COLUMBUS – Joe Dills has recently been sending mail to households in Clermont County with false claims, stating that his campaign is still endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party. The Ohio Republican Party State Central and Executive Committee convened a special meeting on Thursday, February 6 where his endorsement was revoked.
In light of this information, the Ohio Republican Party has issued a cease and desist letter to the Joe Dills campaign.
“Joe Dills has repeatedly lied to the voters of the 65th district. He cheats on his wife, he cheats on his taxes, and now he’s cheating to try to win an election. This is just another case of Mr. Dills displaying an inability to do the right thing,” said Rob Secaur, Ohio Republican Party Executive Director. “Furthermore, we ask that Mr. Dills release a public statement acknowledging that his campaign does not have the ORP endorsement or support of the ORP.”
