Statement from ORP Chairman Jane Timken on the Casting of Ohio’s Electoral College Votes
Columbus,OH – Ohio Republican Party Chairman Jane Timken released the following statement regarding Ohio’s Electoral College votes being cast:
“Today, Ohio’s 18 electors, including myself, will cast our state’s votes solidifying President Trump’s win in Ohio. President Trump won 3.1 million votes across the state, more than any other presidential candidate in history. As we cast our electoral votes today, we are proud to be a part of President Trump’s historic achievement. The president won Ohio by a margin of 8% for the second time in November’s election, an accomplishment that would not have been possible without the enthusiastic support of Ohio voters.”
