ICYMI: U.S. House of Representatives Passes Limit, Save, Grow Act

COLUMBUS—Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Limit, Save, Grow Act. While Republicans are taking action, Joe Biden refuses to negotiate and is using the opportunity to fearmonger and campaign at the risk of driving the United States off a fiscal cliff.

Here is what some members are saying:

Kevin McCarthy (Speaker)

Brad Wenstrup (OH-2)

Bill Johnson (OH-6)

Max Miller (OH-7)

Warren Davidson (OH-8)

Troy Balderson (OH-12)

Mike Carey (OH-15)

Bottom LineOhio’s children will bear the brunt of the U.S. debt and pay the price if Joe Biden’s Democrats continue down the path of failed leadership and irresponsible spending.

Ohio GOP Statement on Joe Biden’s Ill-Advised Reelection Campaign

COLUMBUS—Today, Ohio Republican Party Chairman Alex M. Triantafilou released the following statement regarding Joe Biden’s ill-advised reelection campaign:

“Plain and simple—Joe Biden is not fit for office. His weak leadership and failed presidency are a complete disaster for the people of Ohio as inflation continues to outpace wages, the national debt has spiked by $3.7 trillion, and gas still costs over $1 more per gallon than when Biden took office. It is past time to send strong Republican leadership back to the White House.”—Chairman Alex M. Triantafilou, Ohio Republican Party

Democrats’ Favorite Day of the Year

It’s Democrats’ favorite day of the year—Tax Day! It’s a day when far-left liberals like Sherrod Brown celebrate all the money they have taken out of hardworking Ohioans pockets to fund Joe Biden’s failed policies and radical agenda.

After promising not to raise taxes on those earning under $400,000/year, Democrats’ so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ actually was one of the biggest tax increases in decades.

Now, Joe Biden’s latest budget proposal would only compound that pain for Ohio taxpayers, raising income tax rates to the highest in the developed world, and is seen as his biggest tax hike to date.

And let’s not forget the hidden tax that is driving up costs each and every day—Inflation. In the last two years, Joe Biden and Sherrod Brown’s rampant spending has led to inflation outpacing real wages for 24 straight months.

That isn’t to mention that under Sherrod Brown’s failed leadership as Chairman of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, America experienced the second and third-largest bank failures in our nation’s history.

Bottom Line: If Sherrod Brown cared about working Ohioans, he would work with Republicans across the aisle to get spending under control and drive down costs. Instead, he will continue to vote with the most far-left members of his party and turn his back on Ohioans who need relief the most.
